The idea of working from home has allured a lot of people. Freelancing is everyone’s wish as you can work from the comfort of your bed or couch wearing your favourite pajama with no traffic hustle bustle and pollution. But every coin has two sides and yes! freelancing do comes with some sad struggles too that can only be understood by people who work from home. And to be precise, millions of us work from home now due to the working freedom. And people who wish to work from the comfort of home feel envy with the freelancers but they don’t know, working from home has its own challenges and struggles over time. Those who work at home, are probably familiar with these 20 sad things. And here are they..
1. Your work makes you feel lonely
You work all day alone and finding no colleagues to discuss your work and chit chat you feel lonely very badly and sometimes you get anxiety attack too.
2. Your workplace doesn’t feel like an organized workplace
Well, working on bed and couch could never give the actual working desk feeling. Your bed with your laptop is your first preference to work in which you are surrounded by laptop charger, headphones, hard-disks, scrabbled papers, towel, chips wafer and many more.
3. Your corporate clothing and apparels have no place to flaunt
You work from home and you are a shopaholic and buy your best corporate dress and apparels but unfortunately you can’t flaunt them as you don’t have any specific office.
4. No office fun, holiday and flirting
Office fun, flirting, giggling, chuckling, holidays are all like a daydream which you can’t have but you really miss those badly. As you work already from home, did I say home? Oh! No questions for holidays.
5. You hear one voice, your of course!
You question yourself and answer it back. You are alone at home and keep babbling with yourself, talking to yourself all day and the person you hear is no ghost but you.
6. You spend your working time with your family
Yes, spending couple of hours with family is a great time and quite motivational but constant nagging of your family is quite irritating and annoying which gets really tough for you to manage with your work.
7. Your family feels you don’t have real job
Well, when you will work from home it never feels like you have a got a real job except the day you get your salary.
8. You get free unlimited access to the kitchen and refrigerator
All day working from home really gets boring and mundane which compels you to get hunger pangs and your kitchen is by your side waiting for you anytime. You just need to go and get a leftover pizza slice with a coke.
9. No team lunches and fun forums
When you have no office, you have no colleagues. So, let’s forget about team lunch, fun forums and all stuff.
10. You get socialize only on Facebook
The only place you can socialize with people and friends is your social networking site where you can poke, share, comment and like. Oh boy!

11. People think you are absolutely free
You work from your home and always stay available which makes people that you are totally free. You talk with yourself and listen music to fight stress but people take it in some other way which is totally annoying. I personally hate it.
12. You get so many distractions
Oh! Your Facebook notifications, Skype message ping, favourite shopping offers, Youtube buddy are all your wicked friends who keep distracting you all day. But, I love it!
13. You eat more and get prone to obesity
Of course when you work from home, you get super bored and stressed. You try to eat something always which keeps you all going throughout the day. But, sorry to say that it makes you fat, real fat.
14. You get stressed and bored
Working alone all day with no colleagues, friends, fun chit chats and no exposure to real world makes you feel confines within four walls which increase your stress level and makes you feel anxiety.
15. You lack technical support
I hate it when my system gets any technical issue. No one can help you until you rush to the nearest center for technical support. But real corporate offices always stay ready with technical guys for any kind of help.
16. Your sleep gets affected
You work all day and when you feel real tired and bored you go to sleep and on waking up you again get back to work. So, apparently you don’t have a proper sleeping schedule and you stay up late at night as an owl.
17. You shop more, online!
Amazon, Snapdeal, eBay, Flipkart are just a click far from you. You get a break and shop for your handbags, flip flops, earphones, T-shirts and many more.
18. Your workplace moves from bed to couch and vise verse
You work from home and you have got all the freedom to work the way you like. So, you don’t ever like working on a table with chair but on bed or couch which gives you ultra comfort. Hence, you make rounds all day from bed in bedroom to the couch in living hall.
19. You get constant fear of doorbell ringing while pooping
If you are alone at home working then you can never poop without being tensed. You will always have the fear of doorbell ringing or getting a call on your landline while pooping. Poor! Isn’t it?
20. Your posture gets affected
Okay! Sitting on bed and couch in a slouchy posture hurts your back and affects your posture badly. Oh common! we are freelancers, we love our bed and couch!!
