I really hate summer as I get oily skin and sun tan which makes me desperate for a shower in every 15 minutes. I am sure nobody likes sweat and sweaty stink from all over the body in this scorching summer. Skin which is the most important factor that gets affected in summer. Hence it’s too essential to take a good care of your skin in summer days. You need to avoid oil based cosmetic products in summer to make your skin oil free and fresh.
- Use oil free sunscreen or sun tan lotion or any moisturizer. This keeps your skin look fresh and less sticky.
- Carry an oil free face wash always with you and a white clean towel.
- You can keep a facial mist spray with you all time. This not only makes your skin fresh and cool but also repairs and replenishes your skin energizing your skin cells.
- Always take cold shower 15 minutes later the sweating as it doesn’t blocks your skin and decreases acne breakouts. It also prevents skin to get oilier.
- Carry a water bottle always with you, not for washing off your face but for drinking as you need to keep your system and skin hydrated all day with minimum 2 litres water.

Your hair in summer gets more damaged by excessive heat and sweat. You hair follicles sweat too much giving your hair a sticky texture and even stinks sweaty.
- Braiding your hair or go for top messy knots in summer which are always recommended as the perfect summer hairstyle. You can use head bands to give it more a funky touch. Men can use texturizing spray.
- Always avoid oil in summer for hair as it makes your hair more sticky and sweaty. If you need to oil your hair, you could oil it for 2 hours and then get a hair wash with moisturizing shampoo.
- Keep your hair away from your face by pinning up with bobby pins or U pins. This will make you feel more fresh. Use summer hats to protect your hair and skin.

Summer is all about sweating and more sweating. And the sweat stinks real bad. You need to smell good in summer but it’s quite tough to smell good as you have more outings and hangouts with your buddies.
- Wear loose and lighter and light coloured outfits. Yellow, baby pink, white, baby blue or light purple are always best colours for summer outings. Never go dark as it absorbs more sun heat and makes you sweat.
- Carry a body deodorant for summer especially which makes you feel fresh.
- Use sweat blocking products which are easily available in shops which controls excessive sweating from your armpits and back.
- Avoid using more jewelleries in summer as mostly women always prefer heavy funky metallic and jewel stones neck pieces. This could make you more uncomfortable and you could sweat more. Go with funky earrings as this is enough with a nice light summer outfit.
Looking fresh in summer is not only about preparing your looks externally but also keeping yourself fresh and hydrated internally. Drink gallons of water which keeps your system and skin hydrated and flushes out all the body toxins, get large chunks of fruits salads, sip more on coconut water and eat lots of veggies.
