1. Lothian Cemetery, Delhi
The oldest cemetery which in Delhi which was built in year 1808. Many local inhabitants and tourists have asserted that they actually experienced some unusual supernatural activity in the cemetery. Many believe that these supernatural activities are because of the evil spirits dwelling there.
2. Vrindavan Society, Thane, Maharashtra
According to the old records, a man had committed suicide in building no. 66 B of Vrindavan Society many years ago. And after that, the security guards patrolling the society have had experiences of paranormal activities numerous times. It’s also reported that, once, one of the guards was slapped so hard, that he virtually drifted in the air from his chair and hit another guard who was close to him. Both the guards were badly surprised, but couldn’t find anyone’s presence nearby. It is one of the 10 most spooky and haunted places in India.
3. Brij Raj Bhavan Palace in Kota, Rajasthan
Brij Raj Bhavan in Rajasthan was the official residence of Maharaj of Kota was built in year 1857 A squad of soldier attacked the palace, when everyone flew away from the palace except the British Army officer Major Charles Burton and his son. They were assassinated in the room in which they were hiding. One year later, when British claimed Kota they took the dead body of Major Charles Burton and buried it with full military honor. But the soul of Major Charles Burton still dwell in the palace. Many security guards had to say that they hear voices in English like, “Don’t Sleep, No Smoking” and then get a hard slap on face.
4. Lambi Dehar Mines, Mussoorie, Uttarakhand
In Uttarakhand, near Mussoorie, there is a closed mines area called Lambi Dehar Mines. After numerous surpriosing accidents and deaths it was sealed permanently. The story is that there was a British army who lived Mussoorie had an Indian wife whom he loved very much. But his wife was cheating on him and one day she and her lover decided to kill the British Army Man and hence they killed him by crushing his head at mines. Thereafter, the officer’s spirit wanders there and many local people claim that they hear crying voice at night time.
5. Agrasen Ki Baoli, Delhi
Agrasen ki Baoli is located near Jantar Mantar in Delhi. It is believed that Maharaj Agrasen from Mahabharat built the fort. According to the records, the Baoli was earlier filled with filthy Black water which fetched mostly disheartened, discouraged and depressed believers with magnetic effects. The paranormal attraction of the mystic waters used to hypnotized people to their death by attracting them to jump in the waters. Furthermore, it’s believed that the “Baoli of the unseen”, also call for people to proffer their lives and increase its water levels.
6. D’Souza Chawl of Mahim, Mumbai
Many years ago a woman inhabitant of that place while getting water, accidentally fell in to the well and since then many residents claim that they saw that woman every night, however, most people believe that she is harmless.
7. GP Block, Meerut
This bunglow in Meerut is certainly one of the deadliest haunted place in India. Many locals who live nearby say that when they cross through this building they see a women sitting on the roof of the building and stares people, and four persons on a table having their drinks. Even lot of people has seen the same thing which scares them and hence they don’t even go through that route any more.
8. Dumas Beach, Gujarat
Dumas Beach which is a beautiful beach located near Surat in Gujarat, was a place where Hindus dead bodies were burnt there and people who live near to the beach believe that there are many haunting and paranormal spirits who exist on the beach. 9. Dow Hill, Kurseong, West Bengal
Dow Hill in Kurseong is a small hill station, 30 KM away Darjeeling. It is the second most haunted spot in India as many people say that have witnessed and experienced numerous paranormal activities here. They believe that the spirit exists in the Victoria boys School and they have heard footsteps even when school is closed for 3 months during summer vacation. Locals even say that they have seen head less boy following and stalking them and then get disappear in woods. And later that particular image starts haunting people in their dreams and many people even committed suicide because of that.
10. Bhangarh Fort, Rajasthan
It is the top most haunted place in the world. The record is that a wizard was living there and practiced black magic. He fell in love with the princess, but she denied to marry him and when the wizard died he cursed the whole city would be destroyed soon. Later the Mughal army literally destroyed the city and all the people including the Princess living in the fort were killed. And later it was found that the spirit of Princess and Wizard dwell in the fort and the Archaeological Survey of India has prohibited for the entry to the fort after evening. Many people have witnessed some paranormal activities in the fort.
