How to Culture the Idea of Having Space in Life?
Source: Knowledge for men
Just imagine a real old and ugly chair in your living room. An interior designer hired by you to create a fresh and contemporary style and space in your entire home, on her first day of work asks you about the importance of that ugly chair in your living room. She humbly orders you to get rid of that chair as soon as possible if you really want to modify your home. It’s obvious you gonna think before eliminating that chair where you gonna sit in your living room. Right? Your designer says wherever you want, either sit on the floor, or get cozy in your couch. But, the bottom line is whatever you do, create the space. That means, whenever you walk by that space you gonna think about a brand new stylish chair. That space will trigger the temptation inside you to get a new chair. Similarly, getting space in life can trigger the temptation and urge to have some adventure or to live life differently which will not only change the way of your perception but also who you are. Here are some reasons of culturing the idea of having space in your life.
#1. Make a clear picture of the need to have space
Once you get the reasons behind your want to have space in your life, it will make you more confident and determined about the importance of having space in your life.
#2. Be organized and clutter free
You need to make your home, your workplace and your mind well organized and clutter free. This could lead you to relaxation and peace to get some space.
#3. Have a calendar
Check your days and schedule to get things done more quickly and smartly. Having an eye on your calendar, can help you in no juggling with your works and tasks.
#4. Connect with friends
Yes, your life needs a speed breaker more often. It’s good to spend some quality time with friends, reigniting the spark of fun, weird things and crazy ideas to make yourself creative and productive.
#5. Walk daily
Let me make it simpler for you. Meditating and exercising totally different from walking. Walk after every meal, be it lunch or your dinner. It’s obvious we can’t exercise after having meal, but we can walk, which can help in our digestion process and even reduce our stress level.
#6. Detach yourself from unnecessary entertainment
There are many people who spend 38 hours of watching television per week. It’s true that watching television often can help you a lot, but don’t rely on it completely or don’t get addicted to it, as it could consume much of your life space in which you could yield some much better creative ideas. Similarly, less involvement in internet could help you the same. Internet was discovered to save your time, not to consume all of it.
#7. Take a long shower
It could have two benefits in a broad way. People who get best and creative ideas in shower should spend extra 10-15 minutes in their shower. It could help you to analyse things much better and for those who are not good enough to think in shower should also spend some long time in shower. As could make you more relaxing and stress free, giving you peace of mind and soul.
#8. Take out some “me time”
Learn to spend some lone time with yourself. Indulge in self talk, get into a quiz with yourself. Figure out what you want and desire truly, are you happy or not, is there anything that bothers you, how to achieve a specific goal in implementing some creative ideas. It’s all about you talking and interacting with yourself.
#9. Do what makes you happy
If you feel happy and satisfied by exposing yourself to the scenic beauty of nature, go and get a nice spot and lie down there. If painting makes you happy, go for it, if you love creating master pieces, decorating a corner of your house, spending your time there alone, do it. The thing is pursue your happiness till you have got the life inside you.
#10. Meditate and exercise
The grand of all, I say is meditating and culturing the actual you inside you and getting peace to your soul. Exercising each day can make you more active and logical which will help you cope up with your life issues.
