Sonakshi Sinha who came to lime light grabbing media’s good attention in year 2010 because of two solid reasons first that she is the daughter of Bollywood’s renown veteran actor Shri Satrughan Sinha and second she was playing the love interest of Salman Khan the ‘Bhai of Bollywood’ in film ‘Dabangg’ (2010).
Reportedly, the ‘Dabangg’ actress lost 30 kilos of her weight just before making her debut with Salman Khan as she was asked to shed some pounds by the director of the film Abhinav Kashyap. Before making her entry to Hindi Film Industry, Sonakshi was used to be a heavy girl and her weight was 90kg according to the grapevine. She worked real hard with honest dedication and determination to transform herself from flab to fab.

She was highly motivated by Salman Khan who encouraged and influenced her to make real efforts to lose some weight. Sonakshi gives all credit to Salman Khan as he was the only person who supported her recognising her potential in acting and motivated her to shed some extra pounds. Sonakshi herself said that it was quite an arduous journey of losing weight and had to endure consistent pain in her body for several days throughout her workout sessions. After all these years, Sonakshi has turned her plump body to hot bod with toned legs, flat tummy and even flat cheeks.

Sonakshi Sinha was a great foodie who loved junk foods and was unable to resist brownies. It was quite an unhappy effort that she made for herself to get into the perfect curvaceous shape. She simply avoided all junk foods, fried foods, calorie based foods and excess carbohydrates from her diet. However, she is having her regular home based foods in lesser quantities five times a day. ‘Dabangg’ actress has switched to healthy foods and healthy drinks to help herself in shedding some extra weight. Sonakshi was advised by her personal trainer to have a diet high in protein and low in carbohydrate to stay fit. When it becomes quite impossible for her to resist some brownies she makes sure to walk extra 20 minutes on the treadmill to burn those extra calories.
- For breakfast Sonakshi opts some whole wheat toasts, milk with cereals that are quite healthy and fibrous options to stay fully energetic all day.
- In mid-morning, instead of having any calorie based or fried foods, she loves to have some dry fruits and a cup of green tea to give herself a fresh energetic boost.
