You are at a higher risk of suffering from cancer if you drink alcohol on regular basis. Mouth cancer, pharynx and larynx cancer, breast cancer, oesophageal cancer and colorectal cancer (in men) are basically a result of alcohol consumption. Low to moderate consumption can however, not put your health in such greater risk. If you know that your alcohol intake is in excess quantities, then medical experts advice to drink a maximum of 14 units of alcohol in a week and ask someone to monitor your consumption.
