“OurCoaching” – An EdTech Startup to Teach and Earn

Kunal Kapoor the Founder and CEO of OurCoaching.com, a B.Tech Graduate from VIT, Vellore and his brother the Co-Founder and CTO, a Tech-Savvy Engineer both began this EdTech Journey with a focus to provide a platform for educators to teach and earn with multiple benefits for learners. Kunal have worked in MNC for 4 years handling business operations and marketing and his brother is indulged in high-scale projects from college and has worked with various clients developing applications and websites. This idea is a result of analytical and technical skills possessed by his brother with managerial and operational skills gained by Kunal while working in MNC.

Our Product OurCoaching.com caters two services. We are an education platform where we provide any tutor/educator/instructor or an academician to come and create an online content.

There is no pressure or restrictions of niche, the guide can teach or choose over 10000+ gamut of topics listed on our website. The content creation and publishing is free of cost and we are not charging from educators. The monetary business model is based on the quality, views and impression each video creates uploaded by the mentor of the subject.

Secondly, we are expanding geographical wise, drilling deep by providing a lead of students to suitable teachers. Any private tutor or a coaching institute can register on our website free of cost and on the basis of the response through their videos, they can get a student lead based on the quality of lectures they create and upload on our online portal.

No Boundaries

In order to be an E-Tutor, there is No Age Bar, no criteria or any sort of regional boundaries. A mind loaded with the bullet of concepts, knowledge and possessing a thirst, determination to see students get past the academic hurdles. The ambitions of Youth must roar loud.

Operations Across the Country

Currently, our operational part is managed and controlled from our Delhi office. Firstly, we are planning to roll out in 5 major cities of India. Well, the Digital Educational platform has the users registered from 80+ different cities of the county, rushes our adrenaline. We are aiming high to serve PAN India Operations by the very first quarter in the coming years.

We are empowering the best educators of this country through Digital Marketing. There is a dedicated team which handles all the operations pertaining to our online portal. We have taken the permission and are on-board for mass market capture through road-side banners too at selected locations. We are pressing the pedal at full throttle of online marketing through social media channels such as YouTube, Facebook to increase the reach.

Empowering and Increasing the Literacy Rate Through Digital Medium for every age group, creating a reliable source of free education and a multiplier effect among people. We believe that it will improve online information poverty too. India, is in a huge paucity and is far behind when it comes to create and streaming online content.

A modern-day Maverick? Off-course not, it won’t be easy for a person to quit the high paycheck corporate Job. In starting, it gives you the feeling of riding a lion but trust us, it is really not a smooth road. In starting, your off-road journey will make you sweat-over, yes there were financial issues, lack of manpower and technical glitches. The situation becomes grave with time, there were times when there was not a single visitor nor a tutor registered on the portal. But your “don’t let it go” attitude keeps you going. We learned many new skills, improvised it properly and make it happen.

We all need someone to motivate us at hard-times. For me, in this entrepreneurial Journey, my parents were and still are my supporting pillars.
