Feeling groggy and fatigued mostly at day time is too common in day to day lives. About 98% of people are experiencing energy sapping fatigued feeling at their work desk at day time mostly after lunch. Fatigue is caused due to many reasons like depression, lack of sleep, food allergies, heart disease, dehydration, diabetes, hidden UTI, hypothyroidism, excess caffeine intake, anaemia, unhealthy diet, crashed diet, skipping meals etc. Fatigue drains out all our energy making us feel groggy but the good news is we can fight fatigue by making some smarter and interesting changes in our daily routine which could keep fatigue far from us. Here are the effective ways to fight fatigue:
1. Get early to the bed
Getting adequate sleep is much essential to fight fatigue as our eyes feel like sleepy. But if the sleep is completed of at least 8 hours there’s less chances of feeling fatigues.
2. Meditate and perform yoga
Meditation and yoga could make you feel fit and fresh which keeps your mind, body and soul active and energy refilled which helps in drifting fatigue away.
3. Have a healthy breakfast
Busy schedules usually impel most working people to skip their morning meals that is breakfast which is way too essential. Food rich in proteins and phytonutrients are recommended to have in the morning meal to get an energy boost.
4. Have some green drinks

5. Take frequent breaks

9. Do some stretches for 10-15 minutes
If you are at work, then you could have a brisk walk around your office building, or could stretch in an open place at the lunch break as exercise and workout activates blood flow hence making you filled with more oxygen which ultimately drifts away fatigue.
10. Get your anaemia treated
Anaemia is the most common cause of fatigue in women as excessive menstrual blood loss causes iron deficiency and reduces red blood cells in the body which is essential for carrying oxygen to the tissues and organs. The best way is to have iron supplements or having food enriched with more iron elements.
11. Stay stress and depression free
Stress and depression could lead to fatigue anytime. Stress makes mind and body gloomy which makes us feeling groggy. According to WHO, the people who are more stressed and depressed have the tendency to sleep more. That is the reason why fighting stress is essential to fight fatigue.
12. Drink plenty of water and chill out with some cold water
Drinking gallons of water can no doubt reduce fatigue. But getting a chilling effect with cold water can reenergize you amazingly. Whenever you feel groggy you need a face wash off with chilled water which can reduce feeling of fatigued to much extent.
