Focus on adding healthy food to your diet rather than just taking unhealthy foods away. ➢ Try to eat a family meal every day at the kitchen or dining table. This will help you focus on eating healthy meals. Also pack healthy lunch and snacks for work.
➢ Drink water instead of high sugar drinks including high sugar juices. Don’t skip or delay meals, and be sure to schedule your snacks. If you ignore your feelings of hunger you will end up eating too much or choosing an unhealthy snack. In constipation a person must increase the intake of dietary fibers and moving his/her bowels when he/she urges. Resisting the urge for defecation is the major cause of constipation in busy routine life so a person must avoid it at any cost. If these treatments don’t work, then laxative are a temporary solution. But a patient must keep in mind over use of laxative can make the situation even worsen.
In case of flatulence and abdominal cramps which is often mentioned as “Gas and Gola,” person must avoid caffeine and carbonated drinks, increase fibers in diet, take less stress and learn different ways to cope with stress.
