Particularly for girls and women, pink and shiny lips are always the attractive facial feature. The skin of the lips is very smooth and soft than our facial skin hence it needs more care. Dull, dry and discoloured lips look unattractive. If your lips are real rough and chapped then your lips can also annoy your boyfriend or your husband. All you need to do is keeping your lips little hydrated, moisturized and clean. There are so many reasons why you get dry, cracked, chapped, dull and discoloured lips like smoking, pigmentation, poor hygiene and many more. So, if you crave for lustrous, shiny, plumpy pink lips, here are some effective tips and tricks to get pink lips all naturally.
- Apply natural lip balm without any artificial dyes and ingredients or petroleum jelly over your lips and leave it overnight. You will wake up with soft pink lips.
- Scrub your lips once in a week by getting one of your finger wet in water and dip it in white sugar or brown sugar and start exfoliating or scrubbing for 5 minutes. Wash it off with warm water.
- Use your toothbrush with soft bristles and dip it in honey to get the bristles covered with honey and then rub it on your lips in circular motion to get rid of dry and dead skin.
- Make a DIY natural moisturizer for your lips by mixing ½ tsp of honey, ½ tsp of olive oil/coconut oil and 1 tbsp of sugar properly to apply on lips and rubbing it for 5-10 minutes. Rinse it off with warm water.

- If you have a habit of biting your lips while you are worried or tensed, try to get a chewing gum to chew it rather biting your lips skin as this could cause cracked and damaged lips.
- Remove your make up completely before you go to sleep. Remove your lip shade with a cotton ball soaked in almond oil or olive oil as these have dual effects on your skin. These oil removes the stains and also moisturizes your lips.
- Massage your lips with ice cubes twice a week as massage increases the circulation of blood to lips and keeps it more relaxed and beautiful.
- You could also massage your lips with aloe vera gel for 15 minutes to remove dirt, eliminating dry and patchiness and lightening the lips. The antioxidants present in aloe vera gel makes your skin smoother and more pink.
- Rub lemon juice or a tiny slice of lemon on your lips for 5 minutes to get plumpy and pinky lips as Vitamin C and citric acid in lemon bleaches your lips keeping it all healthy.
- Take some milk cream and add rose petals to it and keep it in refrigerator to make it cool. Apply the cream and rose petals over your lips for 15 minutes and wash it off. This remedy is very effective as it lightens your lips skin and gives natural pink touch.
- For seducing lips mix ½ tsp of olive oil, ½ tsp of honey and lemon juice properly and apply over your lips for 15 minutes and wash it off.

- A real old home remedy for lustrous and pink lips is applying desi ghee or mustard oil in your belly button or navel before you go to sleep. Repeating this remedy could help you to fight dry, chapped and dark lips effectively.
- Crush some pomegranate seeds and mix them with milk cream to apply over your lips for 10 minutes and wash it off with warm water to get plumpy and soft pink lips.
